Your new best friend: Happy Ghast
Say hello to your new favorite mob of all time! The super cute Happy Ghast can carry up to four players through the air. Once tamed and harnessed, this friendly Nether creature turns into your personal “sky taxi”.
And to get your best friend you’ll find a new block called “Dried Ghast Block” which you can place near water so Ghastlings spawn from it. Tame them, gear them and see them evolve into Happy Ghasts.
But of course the update has more to offer:
- Want to spruce up those graphics? - “Vibrant Visuals” is leveling up your graphics with sweet new lighting effects, shadows and more while staying true to the Minecraft look (currently only available for the Bedrock version of Minecraft - a release for Java is coming later this year)
- Always losing your friends in multiplayer? - No more! The new “Player Locator Bar” is an optional HUD element that shows a small player icon above your XP bar, never lose your best friend again!
- What’s new on various objects? - With this update your get enhanced shears, craftable saddles and revamped leads (for chaining boats or ghasts together)
