Our mission is to enable experts and beginners alike to play their favourite games together with their friends. From Ark and Minecraft to Battlefield and CS2, we provide a wide variety of around 100 different multiplayer games from all genres.

 

Your creative field:

We are looking for a full-time, permanent Community Manager (all genders) to start as soon as possible. We live remote-first, but you have the freedom to choose whether you want to work hybrid or completely on-site due to your proximity to one of our locations.

If you’re someone who stays up to date with the latest trends, new technologies, and best practices, then you’re the perfect fit for our Community Manager role! You’ll have the freedom to develop and implement innovative strategies in both content and community management.

As a Community Manager at GPORTAL, you’ll be at the heart of the action—moderating discussions, gathering feedback, and fostering connection, while also developing exciting strategies to boost activity on our Discord server.

Immerse yourself in our community every day, sparking meaningful conversations and responding to messages to ensure a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. Bring the community at GPORTAL to life by organizing and hosting exciting events like Q&A sessions, game nights, and live streams, while also collaborating with partners to create experiences that unite and inspire.

Additionally, you’ll create and share fresh content, including updates and educational posts, while executing growth strategies to attract new members through targeted outreach and partnerships. By regularly reporting on key metrics, you’ll provide valuable insights and recommendations to stakeholders, playing a crucial role in ensuring our community continues to thrive and grow.

 

Ideally, you would have:

  • Proven experience managing online communities, with expertise in Discord (bots, roles, permissions) and social media platforms
  • Skilled in developing content strategies and driving engagement through influencer partnerships, hashtags, and interactive content
  • Experience organizing online events like webinars, live streams, or community challenges to boost engagement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and German for engaging with communities and stakeholders
  • Bonus: Familiarity with analytics tools to track community growth and performance
