Peer to peer is not free! That is the subject of today’s episode of Two minute Tuesdays.
If you are new to the series, don’t worry, this is only our second episode. In this series Damian Reed our evangelist talks about the benefits of private game servers, and many of the subjects that are connected to them.

Peer to peer is not free
[embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnPkWEBaPxo[/embedyt]Whilst peer to peer is suitable for some video games, for others it leaves a lot to be desired. There are so many games launching all the time that are fantastic games, but tainted by a sub par multiplayer experience.
Hopefully this video is the first step, for some game studios to realise that peer to peer is not a cost effective solution for multiplayer orchestration.
Utilising peer to peer – damages player satisfaction, game life durability, and future sales. Private game servers are free, provide a superior player experience, and can be a source of revenue too!
The series can be followed here (of course) and on both our LinedIn page and YouTube channel.
