7 Days To Die Server – Become a game admin

How do I become an admin in the game?

  1. Log on to our website
  2. Click on “My Servers” in the menu on the left
  3. Select the chosen server
  4. Click on “File Manager
  5. Follow the path:
    /saves/Saves/serveradmin.xml
  6. Configure the file
  7. Restart the server to activate the changes

The 7 Days To Die rights system has no content in the beginning. You can find a pre-built configuration file below which you can customize. Enter the file in serveradmin.xml.

To assign Admin or mod rights, you need the Steam64 ID of the respective user. To obtain the ID, you can use the following web tool: https://steamid.io/

Enter the STEAM ID in this line:

   Example: The 'Steam Universe' group has the address

   So you point your browser to
     https://steamcommunity.com/groups/steamuniverse/memberslistxml/?xml=1
   And see that the groupID64 is 103582791434672565.

	  PERMISSION LEVEL INSTRUCTIONS:

   permission level : 0-1000, a user may run any command equal to or above their permission level.
   Users not given a permission level in this file will have a default permission level of 1000!

	  COMMAND PERMISSIONS INSTRUCTIONS:
   ===============================================================
   cmd : This is the command name, any command not in this list will not be usable by anyone but the server.
   permission level : 0-1000, a user may run any command equal to or above their permission level.
   Commands not specified in this file will have a default permission level of 0!
