The Enshrouded world is already a breathtaking playground for anyone who likes to explore and discover new things. But a region like the brand new Albaneve Summits has never been seen before and, in addition to the magnificent scenery, there are of course all kinds of dangers lurking in the icy landscape. You have to travel to the far north via the Nomadic Highlands and the Kindlewastes to experience the new region for yourself.
However, you shouldn't go to the Albaneve Summits just like that, as it is a new region and a new and dynamic weather system has been introduced in Enshrouded, so you really need to be well prepared. Wear suitable clothing or armor that also protects against the cold, prepare various tools and take warming food with you. A campfire and torches are other items that can help protect you from the merciless cold.
So beautiful - so dangerous
As soon as you can see the Albaneve Summits on the horizon, but no later than when you set foot on them, you will be breathless - probably because of the icy cold air, BUT of course also due to the beautiful landscape. If we leave aside the potentially deadly cold and dangerous creatures, you should be able to enjoy the views and experiences at every turn, as the snow-covered mountains and surroundings are breathtaking, especially at sunrise.
The tales of the Albaneve Summits may not sound as risky to you as they are in reality, so be warned that you need to make sure you not only have the right clothing and supporting equipment ready, but that your character's strength is also important. As soon as the icy snowfalls, stormy gusts and, at last, night falls, you will quickly realize that the whole scene is no longer so much fun. You will be slowed down more than once by the various conditions and you have to watch out for seemingly frozen lakes and steep cliffs, which can quickly disappear under the huge blanket of snow and become a death trap. Every step you take should be extremely well calculated, because it's not just nature and the terrain that hold certain risks, there are of course new creatures that are not only friendly but also probably want to fight you.
Surviving in the icy cold
Once you have searched for suitable and, above all, warm clothing and hopefully been successful, warming food and other supplies are essential in order to survive longer than just a brief moment in the Albaneve Summits. Otherwise, you should remember that heat sources such as a campfire can be very helpful and, as the weather is now unpredictable, it can also happen quickly that you get wet and freeze as a result. It is therefore also important that you take a good look around the new region and keep an eye out for possible shelters. Especially at night, you need to be prepared for the cold to reach its peak. The deeper the icy temperatures get into your body, the weaker and slower you become, which in turn makes you vulnerable to potential enemies. But when the sun rises again on the horizon and the first rays of sunlight break over the Albaneve Summits on the snow and turn it into a shimmering glow, the danger is completely forgotten, at least for a brief moment.
