New gameplay mechanics with new map “Tobruk”
The centerpiece of the new update is clearly the historic WW2 Tobruk map and the developers have gone to great lengths to not only provide players with a homage to this well-known war zone, but also to present new gameplay options at the capture points.
The map offers, among other things:
- The “Church Grounds” with the famous “Church of Tobruk”, which is fully accessible and offers a fantastic high ground position
- Weather system for the map with 4 sandstorm levels that can be used tactically
- A desert area with several caves that offer protection for shooters
- A tank graveyard
- A neighborhood with several houses with access to the roofs for many high-ground battles
