The 3rd Chapter

For two Chapters now, you have been fighting against the Stygians and trying to drive back their influence in the world. Now it's time for the 3rd chapter of the Age of War. Arm yourself and your friends, your followers and your servants, and off you go into battle!

What's new?

Two of the biggest new features in Chapter 3 are undoubtedly the new "Fortress Assault" and the new "Tavern System". We take a closer look at both.

Fortress Assault

As a Conan Exiles player, you are very familiar with the Purges and the onslaught of warriors on your fortress. But what if you didn't have to fend off the onslaught, but were the onslaught yourself? This is now possible in Chapter 3. In the ruins of al-Merayah you will find a huge Stygian fortress just waiting for you to face its defenses and fight your way inside to be rewarded with treasures.

Tavern System

In Chapter 3 of "Age of War", things get a bit cozy, even if that somehow doesn't fit in with the "Age of War" at all. But every hero and warrior needs some rest, and you might find it in your own tavern. As soon as you have freed the innkeeper from an enemy camp in the game, you can open your own tavern and build it up piece by piece. Over time, new NPCs will appear in the tavern, which you can recruit. Very practical and definitely a must for every base.

Of course, these are just 2 of the features in the new patch. As usual, there are many smaller improvements, optimizations, balance changes, new items for the in-game store and a new battle pass with cool rewards. High time to sharpen our weapons and bring the "Age of War" to the next stage.
