Minecraft “Caves & Cliffs: Part 1” is here!
This update is the first part of the long-awaited 1.17 update. Announced are new cave structures, animals, and game mechanics - But which features are included in this Part 1 and which features do we still have to be patient for?

This and other new sounds await us in the game from now on. But the sounds of the new goats are sneaky… because they love to attack you with a loving headbutt at every opportunity. Completely opposite are the new axolotls, which will now support you in your underwater adventures and fight by your side. And then there’s the Glow Squid, which… just looks beautiful.
New blocks and items
This has happened to every Minecraft player: Is that a Nether Fortress back there? With the new “Spyglasses” this problem is now a thing of the past – they are built with the newly introduced amethysts, which can be found in small crystal caves!
In addition, the new copper ore brings a whole new look to the game. Blocks made from copper oxidize over time, bringing a historical touch.

What can we expect from Part 2?
The second part of the “Caves & Cliffs” update, which is expected to reach us by the end of the year, brings entirely new areas and structures to the game. The caves will be larger and more detailed, and the mountains will be higher. All in all, Minecraft’s landscape will get a more exciting overlay, which should arouse new interest in the game – unfortunately, we will only get more detailed information about this in the next couple of months.
