7 Days to Die: Best Armors Of The 1.0 Version
What else is indispensable in a zombie apocalypse besides solidarity and survival skills? Defense, of course, and that includes armor that protects you from possible attacks. With the 7 Days to Die 1.0 version, the armor has been completely overhauled and we are going to give you a selection of the best armor.
The best armors for the start
Lumberjack Armor Set
Especially at the beginning you will need a lot of wood in 7 Days to Die, among other things as the first material for one of your first shelters. There is a new Lumberjack Armor Set to go with it, which gives you the following bonuses:
- Lumberjack Hat: Increases your profit when felling wood
- Lumberjack Outfit: Gives you more space in your inventory
- Lumberjack Gloves: Attacks with an axe cause more damage
- Lumberjack Boots: Your stamina is consumed more slowly while you sprint
- Complete Lumberjack Armor Set: Swinging the axe consumes less stamina and with the complete Lumberjack Set you get 100% more gain when cutting wood with an axe
Note: The level of the respective bonuses depends on the quality of your armor. The level of the set bonus is selected according to the lowest quality of an individual piece of armor within the complete set.
Preacher Armor Set
With the Preacher Set, you are really well equipped in a zombie apocalypse, especially for the start. It contains important bonuses such as increased damage against zombies or helps you heal after being attacked. So it's basically exactly what you need in a world full of the undead and is therefore a very good choice to start with. The preacher set offers you the following bonuses:
- Preacher Hat: Purchase prices are reduced by a certain percentage
- Preacher Outfit: Reduces the damage you receive from zombie attacks
- Preacher Gloves: Increases the damage that you in turn inflict on zombies
- Preacher Boots: After you have been injured, you must of course also take care of your wounds. Here, a bonus helps to ensure that your already treated wounds can heal faster
- Complete Preacher Armor Set: If you wear the entire armor set, the chance of being hit by a critical strike is reduced and the rate of infections that you can contract in the corrupted world is reduced
The best armor for “being in the middle of it all”
Biker Armor Set
We would recommend this armor set especially to all those who want to move at increased speed in 7 Days to Die. As the name suggests, the complete set gives you a nice bonus in terms of vehicles, but the bonuses of the individual pieces of armor should not be underestimated either:
- Biker Helmet: The helmet increases resistance to stuns by a certain level
- Biker Outfit: The outfit increases your maximum health by a certain number of points
- Biker Gloves: Melee damage is increased (sometimes significantly) - perfect for anyone who likes face-to-face combat
- Biker Boots: If you use melee weapons, a certain percentage of your stamina is reduced
- Complete Biker Armor Set: Your armor value is increased and minibikes and motorcycles require significantly less fuel, depending on their level
With the more advanced level of 7 Days to Die armor, not only interesting bonuses come into play and must be taken into account. Wearing such armor consumes 5.6% more stamina, you lose 5% of your agility and you become more conspicuous, because your noise is increased by 10% - and this applies to each piece individually. The only exception is a different armor, but we'll get to that in a moment.
Commando Armor Set
In contrast to the Biker Set, the Commando Set is designed for distance and quick escape from dangerous situations. From the background, you can act with important factors such as healing, speed and strength, making you an important part of a team, especially during horde attacks. You get these bonuses from the commando set:
- Commando Hat: Just like the Biker Helmet, you also receive an increase in resistance to stuns
- Commando Outfit: If you suffer critical injuries, they heal faster, depending on their quality
- Commando Gloves: Ranged weapons deal more damage, depending on the level you receive from the quality
- Command Boots: Your jumping speed increases by a certain percentage
- Complete Commando Set: Once you are wearing the complete set, your healing remedies take less time to take effect
Assassin Armor Set
If it weren't for the other armor sets, you could say without a doubt that the Assassin Set is the best armor in 7 Days to Die. If you wear this armor, you will become a true assassin who can take down any enemy from ambush without causing a fuss. So if you are looking for an option that includes sneaking, close combat and, above all, looting, then the assassin set is exactly what you need. The set gives you the following bonuses:
- Assassin Hood: Attacking from ambush becomes even more attractive here, as the damage of sneak attacks is increased
- Assassin Outfit: Sneaking itself works better and you even get a higher speed when crouching. You also make less noise and can hide more quickly
- Assassin Gloves: Agility weapons such as knives, bows and hand weapons have a higher attack speed
- Assassin Boots: While crouching, sprinting does not cause any additional noise
- Complete Assassin Set: Once enemies have lost sight of you, they lose track of you more quickly, depending on your level - making this set one of the best 7 Days to Die armor sets
Psssh: With the Assassin Set you don't make any more noise than usual and the shoes even provide -100% noise.
The best armor for the end game
Nerd Armor Set
If you're looking for an armor set that lets you level up super fast and ensures that you can level up more easily and gain more experience points, then the Nerd Set is exactly what you're looking for. In addition to the extremely well thought-out look of the set, the various bonuses give you many options that make this armor one of the best:
- Nerd Goggles: Increases the number of experience points you receive by a certain percentage
- Nerd Outfit: If you use a skill magazine, there is an increased chance that you will gain an additional level in the skill
- Nerd Gloves: If you use batons or turrets, the damage here is increased by the appropriate percentage
- Nerd Boots: If you wear these shoes, the fall height is increased by a few meters so that you don't take damage at the slightest fall
- Complete Nerd Set: All weapons and tools break more slowly, depending on their quality of course
Raider Armor Set
Let's move on to the last armor set in our list: the Raider Set. As soon as you wear this set, you are effectively the party's tank and can withstand a lot of attacks while also having a great deal of resistance to all kinds of attacks. So if you want to go on a zombie hunt with your friends or experience a blood moon, they can attack from a safe distance while you relentlessly fight your way to the front. The following bonuses are provided by the very impressive Raider Set:
- Raider Helmet: Matching your tank life, you gain a percentage resistance to stuns
- Raider Outfit: If you are hit and suffer a critical hit, this injury heals faster - the higher the level, the faster, of course
- Raider Gloves: You can deal up to 60% more damage with all melee weapons
- Raider Boots: Here too, the boots increase the fall limit from which you take damage
- Complete Raider Set: With the complete Raider Set, you can gain up to 45% resistance to all critical damage, making you the ultimate tank!
