What are the uses of plants in Aloft?
In Aloft, farming is a factor that should not be underestimated, as you can use the numerous plants in a practical way. They not only serve to decorate your island and surroundings, but many of the plants you grow offer you buffs that you can use in a wide variety of situations. You can also make delicious and warming coffee from the coffee beans, for example, and of course use many other plants to make meals and drinks.
Efficient cultivation of plants in Aloft
In order to create your own garden in Aloft, you need to prepare several things. You will need recipes for at least one type of planting plot, soil in which the plants can grow well and, of course, seeds so that anything can grow at all. You will also need water and a little patience.

First, build one or more planting plots for your plants and fill them with soil. Then loosen the soil with a tool called a Dorkip so that you can plant your seeds. You can make the Dorkip yourself in either bone or stone form:
- Bone Dorkip: 2x Carved Darkwood, 1x Waxed Rope and 1x Sharpened Bone
- Stone Dorkip: 2x Wood, 1x Sharpened Stone and 1x Rope
Once the soil has been well loosened, it's time to finally sow the plants. Finally, you need to water them well and make sure that your soil doesn't dry out and water again in good time. As soon as the soil becomes cracked and light, it is high time to water. You can harvest the finished plants with a sickle.
Selection of plants that you can grow in Aloft
There are currently several plants that you can grow yourself by harvesting and finding them on the various islands of Aloft. These include the legendary flax. You will see and use this plant very often in Aloft, as it is essential for making linen, which in turn is also very important for various crafting recipes.
