What are Predator Pals?

In addition to the numerous normal, legendary, Lucky and Alpha Pals, there are now also Predator Pals. They are characterized by their wild and aggressive nature and the bosses are easily recognizable by their glowing red eyes and pink-red aura. Above their name you will find the term “Rampaging” and you should be very careful, because it is not only their appearance that is intimidating. The Palworld Predator Pals deal enormous damage and have high health, which means that you should only go in search of these Pals when you are strong and have a suitable team. The Predator Pals drop Predator Cores and large Pal Souls when you have defeated them - the Predator Pals cannot be captured.

The Predator Pal Locations

In order to find the Predator Pals, you need to show patience as well as perseverance, as they are not only found in difficult and dangerous locations, the time of day also influences the spawn of some Predator Pals. It is best to use an interactive Palworld map and use the information to choose a route that is ideally located along fast travel points. This should also make it quicker to find Predator Pals and collect the valuable Predator Cores.

In the fight against the Predator Pals

It's certainly no surprise that the new Pals are no walk in the park when it comes to combat. So the same rules apply as always before a big fight: Strengthen your team, but above all yourself, rely on healing potions and defense and of course some ammunition. You should also make sure that the environment helps you during the fight against a Predator Pal, be it water or large rocks, use everything that can make the fight easier for you. It is also essential to know your opponent's weaknesses so that you can counter them with the right elemental pals.

What are the Predator Cores good for?

If you are brave and strong enough to stand up to a Predator Pal, you can consider yourself the lucky owner of at least one Palworld Predator Core. The bright red core contains the mysterious energy of the Predators and is one of the most valuable resources in Palworld. They are therefore not only rare and difficult to obtain, but also very useful.

If you have already played Terraria, then the name “Meowmere” should mean something to you. As soon as you have collected 3 Predator Cores, you can use a few more materials to create your own legendary sword, which goes by the name of Meowmere. With level 30 and 2 Ancient Technology Points, you can unlock the recipe for the sword and will need the following materials:

• 22x Ingots
• 22x Paldium Fragment
• 22x Coal
• 3x Predator Core

You also have the option of using the Predator Cores to upgrade your inventory and increase it by up to 12 slots. To do this, you need to create the small, medium, large and giant pouch. The following materials and requirements must be met for each pouch:

• Small Pouch: Level 28 and 2 Ancient Technology Points to unlock the recipe. Otherwise you need 20x Fiber, 10x Leather and 1x Predator Core
• Medium Pouch: Level 42 and also 2 Ancient Technology Points. 50x Fiber, 20x Leather and 5x Predator Core are required
• Large Pouch: Level 52 and 3 Ancient Technology Points. 80x Fiber, 30x Leather, 10x Carbon Fiber and 10x Predator Core are required for the recipe
• Giant Pouch: Level 57 and 4 Ancient Tech Points to unlock the recipe. Also: 120x Fiber, 40x Leather, 20x Carbon Fiber and, of course, 20x Predator Core

Each pouch adds 3 slots to your inventory, so it's worth making all 4 variants, even if it means a lot of work to collect the large amount of Predator Cores.
