Farming Simulator 22 in numbers

The Farming Simulator series is an integral part of the gaming landscape and has become more and more extensive with each installment. But how extensive is the current installment exactly, you ask? Let's take a look at a few facts.

Aspiring farmers have a choice of a total of 775(!) different machines, tractors and more to supply their farms. These are spread across well over 100 different manufacturers and really do include everything that has a name in the agricultural sector. With the numerous DLCs that have been released over the years, new machines and, of course, manufacturers have been added. Starting with rather exotic machines such as the Porsche Diesel Junior 108 through to the giant top dogs such as the Fendt 900 Vario Black Beauty, which not only has a beautiful name.

All these machines are then used on a total of 6 maps that couldn't be more different. We have Elmcreek, modeled after the Midwest of the US, Haut-Beyleron, a landscape in the south of France, Erlengrat, a town in the beautiful Swiss Alps, Silverrun Forest in the Pacific Northwest, Zielonka in Central Europe and a special AgroVation map that was released together with the HORSCH AgroVation Pack.

And on all these maps, a total of 20 different types of goods can be cultivated. These range from wheat, sunflowers and potatoes to grapes, carrots, olives and of course many more.

Modding in FS22

In addition to the official content from the developer GIANTS, there is also a very lively modding community in the Farming Simulator community. This community is constantly creating fantastic mods with new machines and features, which can then be used by players free of charge. These even include completely new game mechanics such as the “Emergency Pack”, in which players can act as firefighters to combat various fire situations. It's absolutely amazing and we're so excited to see what the modding community will come up with in Farming Simulator 25.
