Palworld roadmap for its 1st birthday
On January 19, Palworld celebrated its first birthday and Pocketpair took this as an opportunity to present an extensive roadmap for the upcoming months. New and exciting features are on the agenda - you can find out exactly which ones in the GPORTAL blog.
The Palworld roadmap: what can you expect?
- Crossplay: many players have been asking for this since the Early Access release and have been eagerly waiting for it ever since, so we are all the more pleased that there will finally be the option of crossplay - allowing you to play with all your friends at last!
- Pal transfer: another really cool new feature is the Pal transfer. This will allow you to transfer any Pals from your team between servers and game saves, so you can use them anywhere
- New Pals and biomes: of course, there will still be new Pals and new biomes - Pocketpair just won't miss a beat
- Story expansion and endgame with final boss: the stories and secrets surrounding Palworld will be expanded and new, demanding challenges will await you
- Strengthen and improve Pals: there will be more opportunities to keep strengthening and thus improving your Pals. We hope you're ready to build an even stronger Pal team!
- More Palworld Collabs: we already know about the collaboration between Palworld and Terraria - more are to follow, but exactly which ones are not yet revealed
- QoL and technical improvements: the Pocketpair team is also working tirelessly on further improvements to Palworld to ensure that the fun is always there
Future plans for Palworld
The Palworld roadmap presented shows that even after more than a year, Pocketpair still has a clear vision for the further development of Palworld. With the planned features, new game mechanics and exciting content, Palworld will certainly continue to play a major role in the gaming industry in 2025. And even though Palworld players have high expectations for upcoming updates, we are almost certain that these will be far exceeded.
One update follows the next - reason to be happy
The big Palworld Feybreak Update has just been released, which has once again brought an incredible amount of fun to Palworld with a number of new features. And of course the high player numbers speak for themselves. If Pocketpair's plans are implemented anywhere near as well as they have been planned, then we can expect great things for Palworld in 2025.
